After School Sports Club

Our sports after school club is a brilliant way to introduce any child to one of the many sports that we offer. We have qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coaches that run a fun session at the end of the school day. We have been running extra curricular clubs in primary schools for nearly 10 years now in primary schools all over the south of England.

We provide both curricular and non curricular sports, have a look below at the difference:

Curricular  Sports:

  • Athletics
  • Cricket
  • Football
  • Gymnastics
  • Hockey
  • Tag Rugby
  • Tennis
  • Netball

Non Curricular Sports:

  • Badminton
  • Basketball
  • Boxing
  • Cheerleading
  • Dance
  • Dodgeball
  • Fitness classes
  • Tri Golf
  • Multi Skills
  • Soft ball games

All of our lesson plans in our schemes of work are available for the school to see and we can send them to you on  request, click on the link below to have a look at one of our after school club lesson plans that we use for a Tri Golf club:

We have two different ways that schools can have one of our after school sport clubs:

Option 1 … Parents pay £3.50 for each session and the school have no admin

We have an online website in place that is really easy to use where parents sign up for the term, paying £4.50 per session. By the parents signing up we get all of the information we need about the child from them, such as medical information, additional needs and emergency contract details. We also make are own leaflets to promote the club, the only thing we ask the school office to do is to send out are leaflet to parents at the start of term, leaving the school with no admin.

Option 2 … The school pay £35.00 per session for the club

The school paying for the club allows them the flexibly of charging parents or letting children attend the sport school club for free. Our Sports Coordinator will contact the school office to make sure everything is in place before the first session and that the sports coach has all of the information he/she needs. We would also provide you with a leaflet to help promote the club that you can send out to parents, we would just need a register each week for the coach to use.

Testimonials:

St Finians Primary School

‘We have been using Achieve Sports for a few years now as our after school activities provider.  The children love the variety of clubs that they provide and the coaches are always very proficient and make it fun for the children.  They run clubs for different ages and are always mindful of the varying levels of skills of each year group.  I would definitely recommend Achieve to other primary schools.’
